Mike verses the Wild

As we mentioned earlier our friend Jake and Amy picked us up from the airport. We learned that night that they had our first outing already planned for us. Our first saturday was spent in the ministry, we each came home with a return visit..the territory here is very fruitful and people while Catholic respect the bible. Later that afternoon we were taken to Shark's Cove. It included a beautiful 30 minute hike to the Cove where we spent the rest of the day until the stars came out.
This beach was practically empty as you can see, except for the people that lived on the beach in makeshift huts. Well they wont go hungry here because almost every palm tree was loaded with coconuts.
These butterflies are everywhere but we came accross a tree that had perhaps hundred of them flying all around.
We collected cool coral that had washed ashore.

  1. Hafi Adai, Mike & Jeanne,

Don't worry, I didn't just call you some horrible name (do that to you guys? No way, Jose!) You may have already learned the Guamanian words meaning "hello," which are hafi adai (I saw it on a website about Guam.)

Judging by the photos, Guam is agreeing with you. Looks interesting and beautiful, and I'm so glad the people are receptive to the good news of Christ's kingdom. Is the white building with the fortress-like tower part of the Branch office?

Last Saturday and Sunday we were treated to a wonderful (as usual) Circuit Assembly, "Keep Conquering the Evil with the Good." Two people in Central Cong. were baptized: Pearl Smith and Brittany Walton.

Everyone in your service group is making sure Bill Neil stays on his toes while you're away. We're all doing fine and the others send their love. We miss you, Mike and Jeanne, and we want you to come back in June--even if one of us has to fly to Guam and pry you back here with a crowbar!

Take care. You may email me at: sally_mollin@yahoo.com

With agape love, Sally (who else would have my email addy?)
