We have spent our Saturdays in the door to door ministry. We found people who were interested in the Bible and they asked us to return. The trick is remembering how to find your way back. With all th typhoons, signs were blown down and many have not been put back. Locals make up names for many roads based on the surroundings and landmarks. So some if not many have more than one name. In the process of trying to find Mikes interested ones we found two more people. You can see that some of the houses are actually storage units, some are just living in tents or little storage sheds. But everyone is very friendly and have a respect for the bible.
As you can see many homes are normal and well built to withstand the typhoons. Even the roof is concrete and they typically dont use gutters since they will blow away anyway. Dogs are virtually at every home big and small. In our territory we often drive from one house to the other because of the distance between houses. At the end of every tiny, overgrown dirt road there may or may not be a house so we have to search.
Some have small farms and little gardens. This lady who owns this home is very nice she is one of my return visits.
Thanks for the glimpse of your territory. How are you doing on your "catch a chicken" project??
